Index Status Checker is a free Google index checking tool operated by Khan IT, a digital marketing agency based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. You can learn more about the tool on our About page.
What Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you create a free account, we collect your email address. That is all we ask for. No name, no phone number, no payment information.
If you contact us through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to you.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and the pages you visit. This is standard for virtually every website on the internet and is used only for security monitoring and diagnosing technical issues.
We do not build profiles from this data or use it for advertising.
URLs you check
The URLs you submit for index checking are processed in real time to perform the check. We do not store your submitted URLs after the check is complete. Your URL history is not saved, not logged, and not accessible to anyone on our team.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:
- To provide the index checking service
- To manage your free account if you create one
- To respond to messages you send us
- To monitor for security issues and abuse
- To improve the tool based on aggregate, anonymous usage patterns
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your data with anyone outside of Khan IT except where required by law.
Third-Party Services
To operate the tool, we use a small number of third-party services. These include our web hosting provider and email delivery service for account-related messages. These providers process data only as necessary to deliver their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising or retargeting platforms.
Data Retention
We retain your email address for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we remove your email from our systems within 30 days.
Contact form messages are retained for up to 12 months for reference and then deleted.
Server logs are retained for up to 90 days and then deleted automatically.
Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- The right to access the data we hold about you
- The right to correct inaccurate data
- The right to request deletion of your data
- The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Children's Privacy
